The Eurekahedge Report - November 2009

Introduction

The Eurekahedge Hedge Fund Index was flat to marginally negative through October, returning -0.3%1 for the month, with the YTD figure standing at 16.1%. Emerging markets hedge funds posted positive returns, while US- and Europe-based managers outperformed the underlying regional markets. Managers attracted capital for the sixth consecutive month with net inflows of US$10.2 billion in October, bringing the current assets under management to US$1.45 trillion and is on track to hit the US$1.5 trillion mark by end-2009.
